Structure of the IBPS Question Papers


IBPS Question papers is different for PO,Clerks and Specialist Officers.Although the IBPS PO Question very much similar to IBPS Clerk Question papers except a few changes but IBPS Specialist Officers Question Paper contains a Subject specific section.Complete details regarding the pattern of IBPS Question papers are given below:

IBPS PO Question Papers


IBPS had conducted the Common Written Exam for PO in September 2011 and November 2011 (Supplementary).IBPS PO Question paper contains the following sections:

Section-I
  • Reasoning Sections contains 50 Questions carrying 50 marks.
  • Quantitative Aptitude contains 50 Questions carrying 50 marks.
  •  English Language contains 50 Questions carrying 25 marks.
  • General Awareness Section (Including Banking Banking Awareness Questions) contains  50 Questions carrying 50 marks.
  • Computer Section contains  50 Questions carrying 50 marks.
Section-II
  • The second section of IBPS PO Question paper contains a descriptive Question paper.
  • The Descriptive Question paper is basically the test of English Language and comprehension.
  • The Descriptive paper carry 25 marks and duration of 1 hour

IBPS Clerk Question Papers


In November and December 2011, IBPS had conducted the Common Written Exam for Clerks in 3 days and 6 Shifts.The IBPS Clerk paper has same structure as we have in PO Question paper, expect the Quantitative Aptitude section is replaced by Numerical Ability Section.Also there is no descriptive paper in IBPS Clerk Exam

IBPS Specialist Officer Question Papers


IBPS is going to conduct the Common Written Exam for Specialist Officers in March, 2012.IBPS Specialist Officers Question paper will contain the following sections.
  • Reasoning Sections contains 50 Questions carrying 50 marks.
  • English Language contains 50 Questions carrying 25 marks.
  • Quantitative Aptitude contains 50 Questions carrying 50 marks.
  • Test of Professional Knowledge contains 50 Questions carrying 75 marks.

    IBPS, a name that needs no introduction is one of the India`s largest recruitment agency.In 2011, IBPS has introduced the concept of Common Written Exam for the recruitment of Probationary Officers, Clerks and Specialist Officers in 19 Public Sector Bank of India.In fact, IBPS is conducting the recruitment exams on the behalf of 19 Public sector banks.This means banks will no longer have to conduct separate recruitment exams for the above mentioned posts and will use the IBPS score and call the students for Interview based on their IBPS score.
